We are gearing up for our fourth season of high school and middle school beach volleyball in southwest Louisiana! Beach volleyball is a growing sport and it continues to grow at a rapid rate, at both the collegiate and junior levels.  This league was created in order to increase the interest, opportunity and options for juniors (boys and girls) in our state to learn the beach game, have fun and compete for the many scholarships now available.

 

We will conduct all league play as officially sanctioned events through the Bayou Region of USA

Volleyball. This means that ALL league participants must be current USAV members and may register

USAV membership provides all members supplemental sports accident insurance, allows participation in USAV events nationwide and helps to provide a set of safety standards recognized by the USOC. If you played indoor for the 2023-2024 season you do not have to purchase the membership. If you did not play indoor volleyball for the 2023-2024 season you will have to purchase a Bayou Region Jr. Outdoor Membership. Each player will need to turn in the signed Medical Release Form with their current USAV Membership number.  Please contact your school coach or feel free to email us with any questions.

 

The 2024 season will begin the week of March 18th and will run until May 1st. We will be off the week of April 1st for Spring Break. Weekly practices for middle school will take place each Monday from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. Weekly practices for high school will take place each Tuesday from 4:30-6:00pm.  Weekly matches will be held each Wednesday. Match times may vary but, the earliest time will be 4:00 pm. The Championship will be May 1st.
